KWARK was set up in 1995. The name reflects the properties of a quark, an elementary particle, so tiny and unpredictable, that even its existence is highly disputed.

We started with a caps collection, mainly sport models. We then added berets, hats and scarves - now we have about 50 different models of garments made of Polartec® fabrics.

The great success of this collection in Poland allowed us to develop our business into new market segments. We decided to use Polartec Powerstretch to create a high performance underwear line. The warm, body-hugging four-way stretch durable garments with moisture management met expectations of many people. From the very beginning we have cooperated with the best distributors. The company and market expanded rapidly. We take great care in selecting our fabrics. High quality finish and promotion of our own designs are the top priorities for us.

In 1997, we widened the product range by launching a line of professional sportswear. It was an instant success on the German market. Both German National Kayaking and Canoe Polo Teams have chosen our garments. Our products are used by the National Team in Flatwater Kayaking Sprint and by Birgit Fischer, considered the world's greatest kayaking champion. Kwark fleece is also worn by Antje Bornhak who won the World Cup in MTB orienteering.
